You can't take pictures in the Museum and there wasn't much of photographic interest in the Hearn House, but they are worth visiting, if you are in Matsue and are coming to this street.  It is usually much busier than this, a few minutes later, it was filled with tours and cars.  Of more interest to me was the Samurai House found below.  There are also a few cafes and restaurants on this street.
