Singapore is a great city.

I started out in the Copthorne Orchid Hotel, thanks to Cathay Pacific.  Moved to Ruby Hotel, thanks to a poor choice when booking on the Internet.  Then to the Metropolitan YMCA, thanks to Lonely Planet and Helen.  So I had a nice cross-section of the top-bottom-middle rungs of hotels in Singapore.
