There's that windmill from another angle.

The canals here seem much more cleaner and nicer than Amsterdam.  Generally I think Leiden is everything Amsterdam should be, but can't aspire to.  Leiden is a much nicer place to visit and probably to stay in, if you are visiting the Netherlands.
